The ideal candidate will have a good engineering background with relevant experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair and the installation and / or modification of machinery.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, dedicated with a hands - on approach and have the ability to work under pressure. They will demonstrate a positive approach towards team working to ensure the Maintenance Department provide the best possible service to others within the Company.
On site training will be provided for the successful applicant, commensurate with the challenges and responsibilities these positions bring.
Rotating 3 shift system:
Week 1: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday 4pm to midnight
Week 3: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8am to 4pm, Thursday & Friday off, Saturday & Sunday 8am to 4pm

Summary
To establish and administer product range control (specification, rationalisation and gap analysis). To develop an understanding of the targeted markets, customers & trends & to fill identified gaps with new ranges of well researched products.
Your responsibilities will include
¨ support the development of product development strategy
¨ market research of foodservice & packaging sectors
¨ Communicate internally markets, trends, product launches and de-listings
¨ Internal and external customer and competitor audits using marketing techniques
¨ Attend sales, marketing and innovation meetings
Essential Skills Required
¨ Degree educated with excellent Industry Experience
¨ In depth knowledge of the foodservice and/or food packaging market sector
¨ Experience of competitor & market information analysis
¨ Experience of researching customer requirements
¨ Capacity for originality and independent thought
¨ An ability to work on own initiative and within a team
¨ Good communications/interpersonal skills – visual, verbal and written
¨ Good IT skills, including MS Office, spreadsheets and databases
¨ Project management skills
This is a monthly paid position with the hours of work being 09.00 hours – 17.00 hours, Monday – Friday with 1 hour for lunch. The position reports to VP of Innovations, Environmental & Packaging.
